Gizem Argüden Oskay

Board Member

Gizem Argüden is currently leading and coordinating the founding efforts of Arguden Governance Academy, primarily focusing on developing education and research programs, managing partnerships and establishing the organization. She started her career as a management consultant in McKinsey & Company in 2010, where she worked primarily with non-profit, healthcare and media companies around the world on strategy, sustainability, organization and operations topics.

Gizem holds a BSc degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Management and Real Estate, and minors in Philosophy and Architecture. As a Joseph Wharton Scholar, she wrote her thesis on Cross-national differences in Corporate Governance, focusing on how family business groups and control pyramids corporate governance practices around the world. She is a graduate of Robert College, where she received the A.Sualp Award for Excellence in Science and Arts.
