192 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and universities from 60 countries participated in the "International City and Non-Governmental Organizations Summit" hosted by the Esenler Municipality and held under the auspices of the Presidency. During the 3-day summit, 35 panels were held under 17 topics. At this summit, we shared our publication "Examples of Governance from Cities" with the participants by organizing a panel titled "Good Governance in Cities", in which OECD Public Policy Expert Oscar Huerta Melchor was our guest of honor, and invited speakers from national and international institutions to this great and valuable organization.
In our panel moderated by Dr. Yılmaz Argüden, our Public Governance Specialist Fikret Toksöz, Çukurova Development Agency Secretary General Dr. Lütfi Altunsu, Adana City Council President Ömer Güner Sazak shared their views on urban governance. We conveyed the good governance practices in cities and municipalities to 80 people who participated in our panel.
In addition, we had the opportunity to introduce our Academy to 270 associations and 3,105 people with our promotion area at the summit.
