Legal advisors have important duties for the corporate sustainability of companies. For Legal Counselors, the first of which we carried out in cooperation with TUSIAD in 2017, in order to contribute to this task as the Academy.We held the second of our Corporate Sustainability Conference series in cooperation with Galatasaray University.

In our Conference, attended by the students of the Faculty of Law, lawyers and everyone who is interested, who are the lawyers of the future, the role of legal counsel in corporate sustainability will be discussed in the sustainability issues of companies. We talked about their awareness and ways to increase this awareness, the approaches in Türkiye for a more sustainable future, the governance mechanisms required in sustainability, the role of legal counsel in crisis and risk management, and we gave suggestions to the legal counsel of the future. It was moderated by UN Global Compact Board Member and Academic Board Member Dr. Erkin Erimez, one of the distinguished lawyers of our country, Coca-Cola Chief Legal Counsel Atty. Ertuğrul Onur, Founding Partner of Boden Hukuk Atty. Deger Boden and Founding Partner of ELİG & Gürkaynak Law Firm, Atty. Gönenç Gürkaynak took place as a speaker.
