At this special gathering held at the historic Moda Sea Club, established upon the instruction of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we came together in an atmosphere enriched by music, dance, and meaningful conversations, while once again reflecting on our commitment to the Republic and our shared responsibility for the future.
We believe that being young in the second century of the Republic means not only preserving the legacy entrusted to us, but also advancing it by strengthening the culture of democracy and creating social benefit. In this regard, we see The Youth of the Republic of Türkiye Ball as a meaningful example of young people coming together around shared ideals to think, produce, and act collectively.
Throughout the evening, while gathering around the principles of participation, coexistence, volunteerism, and social responsibility, we also reaffirmed the meaning behind our “Pledge to the Republic of Türkiye” initiative. We shared our common belief that the greatest legacy the Republic has entrusted to young people is the responsibility to build a future grounded in reason, science, solidarity, and social trust.
As the Argüden Governance Academy and its Youth Network, we believe in a future shaped by young people who lead change and contribute to building a more just, inclusive, contemporary, and trust-based society together. For us, The Youth of the Republic of Türkiye Ball became a meaningful gathering where strong bonds were formed, shared hopes were strengthened, and the value of collective contribution was once again deeply felt.
As stated in our Manifesto: “We are aware of our power; in the new century of the Republic of Türkiye, with determination and hope, we will use our perseverance, talent, labor, and actions to advance our democratic understanding as a society, strive for a better future, and be pioneers of change.”
Together with young people who carry the light of the Republic into the future, we will continue to foster a culture of good governance, strengthen social trust, and create common benefit.
