Dr. Yılmaz Argüden called for good governance and cooperation at the United Nations General Assembly. The conference titled “Business: A Driver for a Better World” was held at the United Nations Headquarters.

Speaking at the meeting held at the United Nations Headquarters as part of the "Business World: Driving Force for a Better World Conference", UN Global Compact National Networks World President and Global Compact Türkiye Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Yılmaz Argüden said, “Trust is the essence of good governance and the foundation of sustainable development. For a better and sustainable future, all institutions should take responsibility for developing good governance and collaborations.
At the UN General Assembly session, global leaders such as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, UN General Assembly President Sam K. Kutesa, Nestle CEO Paul Bulcke, Unilever CEO Paul Polman, Sinopec CEO Fu Chengyu gave speeches. and civil society leaders to cooperate with the United Nations to solve universal problems.
At the conference held on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the UN Global Compact initiative, the business world and civil society came together at the UN to evaluate the role of the private sector in overcoming universal problems and shared exemplary practices.
