Dr. Erkin Erimez

Academic Council Member

Dr. Erkin Erimez is a partner in ARGE Consulting with expertise on corporate governance, sustainability, energy, Istanbul Stock Exchange Sustainability Index and law. Prior to joining ARGE, he worked in Borusan Holding first as finance manager and then as the corporate secretary between 1998 - 2012. During this period, he completed many projects on logistics optimization, customer delivery performance improvement, production planning and new management structure formation as black belt. Dr. Erimez played active role in establishment of sustainability perspective in Borusan Group, being one of two Turkish members in World Business Counsel for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
 
Dr. Erimez is a member of various working groups including the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD) where he is a member of the Corporate Governance Initiative and Sustainability Task Force, Turkiye Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) and International Investors Association (YASED), He is a board member and head of Academic Platform in TKYD (Corporate Governance Association of Turkiye) and has taken an active role in the development of a sustainability index project for Istanbul Stock Exchange as member of the Turkish Business for Sustainable Development workgroup.

Dr. Erimez holds a BS degree in Electronics Engineering and MBA in Marketing from Boğaziçi University. He has received his PhD on Strategic Alliances from the same university.
