We organized an informational and application training session with the launch of the 2024 applications for the European Label of Governance Excellence, which was established by the Council of Europe to promote good governance in local administrations.

Our training session, attended by representatives of municipalities planning to apply for the Label in 2024, also welcomed representatives from the European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA) and metropolitan and district municipalities that earned the right to use the Label for one year in 2023. Municipalities applying for the ELoGE certification were introduced to the self-assessment tool, which consists of 12 principles of good governance and 97 indicators. Additionally, guidance was provided regarding the application form, and information was shared on the benefits the Label would bring to local administrations. At the end of the event, participants received detailed information during the Q&A session about the application process.
Informational sessions on the European Label of Governance Excellence will continue. In addition to in-person sessions planned in Adana and Ankara, one more online training session will be held.
