At the panel titled “From Screen to Scheme: The Battle Against Illicit Financial Flows” discussions focused on how artificial intelligence can be leveraged as a strategic tool in combating corruption and illicit financial flows, the governance risks emerging alongside technological solutions, and the indispensable role of human judgment in decision-making processes.

Organized by the UN Global Compact and UNODC, the Private Sector Forum brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, civil society, youth, academia, and international multilateral organizations, contributing significantly to shaping the global integrity agenda of the private sector.

During the session, Dr. Erimez shared insights on AI governance and the responsibilities of boards of directors in this rapidly evolving field, underlining that these issues have become an integral part of the sustainability and responsible business conduct agenda. The forum highlighted the critical role of private sector leadership in advancing transformational governance and building a more sustainable world.
