Good Governance for Sustainable Cities

We provided training on local sustainable development in the Working Groups and Stakeholder Training organized by the İzmir Sustainable Urban Development Network, which was established for the localization of sustainable development throughout İzmir. “Good Governance for a Sustainable City” was held by our Academic Board Members, Dr. Erkin Erimez and Dr. İnan İzci. Working Groups and Stakeholder Training was held on the subjects of Sustainable Development Goals, importance of SDG localization, voluntary local review reports, data, indicators and methodology, VLR examples from the world, culture, right to the city, digital democracy, watershed-based SDG training, İzmir city holistic (Social, Economic, Environmental) analysis, basin based city analysis (Bakırçay/Gediz, Küçük Menderes, Center, Peninsula) for IEKKK Members, Sustainability Representatives of IEKKK Member Institutions and Organizations, Volunteer Local Evaluation Report Coordination Board, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Relevant Units, Izmir City Council, District Sustainability Offices, District Municipalities Related Units.
