The "International Social Policies Conference" organized by Kadıköy Municipality at Caddebostan Cultural Center was held. At the conference, perspectives and practices on social policies in Türkiye and European countries were discussed.

Kadıköy Mayor Aykurt Nuhoğlu, who made the opening speech of the conference, touched upon the social policy practices of Kadıköy Municipality and said, “We are faced with social rights that are left incomplete by the central government and restricted with the economic crisis. Children, women, youth, LGBTI individuals, the disabled, all disadvantaged groups, we have to be a part of everyone's life. We need to talk about how we can do all of this more easily, more comfortably and with a healthier budget. If we get everyone's thoughts, we can produce healthier projects. When good things are done, good designs can be made for people. If we walk towards the good, the future of this country will be good too.” said
At the end of the first day of the conference, Dr. Yılmaz Argüden and Dr. Erkin Erimez presented the 2017 Integrated Report of Kadıköy Municipality.
