As the second century of the Republic of Türkiye began, we conveyed our aspirations for a better future with our youth who want to be a part of the solution instead of complaining. We shared our vision and pledged our commitment to the Republic of Türkiye. At the Pledge to the Republic of Türkiye Youth Summit, where we unveiled the Youth Manifesto, we brought together the enthusiasm of young people, professionals from various sectors, academics, and the media. The event took place on November 18th at Miniatürk in Istanbul, garnering attention from youth, professionals, academics, and the media.
In our Quality of Life in Türkiye panel, moderated by Naci Başerdem, speakers from the Youth Network, including Ali Emre Dikmen, Ceren Murat, Gülşah Şimşek, and Orhan Erdoğan, shared their thoughts. The panel addressed topics such as governance, trust, meritocracy, the importance of education in every aspect of life and every unit of society under the themes of communication, non-violent society, and equal opportunities. Discussions also focused on the significance of gender equality, how it can be achieved, human-centered thinking, and the possibility of being a society beyond individualism, resulting in the generation of solution proposals.
