Youth Network of Argüden Governance Academy “Pledge to the Republic of Türkiye"  to assume responsibility for a better future. The Youth Manifesto includes 23 articles addressing crucial themes such as focusing on a culture of trust, taking responsibility for future generations, ensuring continuous learning and development, strengthening love and respect for nature, and embracing human values as fundamental principles of life.

Youth Manifesto to the Republic of Türkiye

For Quality of Life and a Sustainable Future, We the youth to whom the Republic of Türkiye was Entrusted to by Atatürk Declare that;

We will Focus on Cultivating a Culture of Trust!
  • Article 1: Our goal of modern citizenship is to cultivate a society consisting of active, free, entrepreneurial, and socially responsible citizens who prioritize ethical conduct, meritocracy, to build trust in institutions through rule making with inclusive and meaningful stakeholder engagement and proper oversight. We will support all kinds of inclusive collaborations and initiatives to become a well-educated, conscious, questioning, and scrutinizing society in every field.
  • Article 2: Advocating for good governance principles: We will take ownership of good governance principles in every environment and initiative for justice and peace in society.
  • Article 3: Assuming a constructive role for the world we want: In monitoring and overseeing the proper utilization of public resources with a sense of active citizenship, we will play a constructive and visionary role in developing systems and incentives to be aligned with the world we want.
  • Article 4: Ensuring a global perspective: We will assume responsbility to ensure that institutions focus not only on short term performance but also on the sustainability of the future and adopt a good governance mindset with a global perspective.
  • Article 5: Valuing global citizenship: We value global citizenship; we will undertake initiatives that will elevate our country's reputation and competitive power in the world and increase its contributions to human civilization.
  • Article 6: Believing in the power of open and constructive communication: We believe in the unifying, innovative, and developmental power of free communication, constructive criticism, and concrete policy recommendations.
We Will Embrace Responsibilities Towards Society and Future Generations!
  • Article 7: Drawing strength from the guiding values and principles of the Republic of Türkiye: We are inspired by the founding principles of our Republic our language, flag, constitution, and the richness of our national and cultural values. With a consciousness of global citizenship, we will exist as pioneers of change for sustainable development through our value-focused efforts in an ever-changing and evolving world.
  • Article 8: We believe that civil society organizations should be present in every aspect of life. In line with our needs and competencies, we will continue to take on roles and touch lives as volunteers on the path to improving quality of life and sustainable development.
  • Article 9: As global citizens, we aspire to be leaders of change who ensure the continuous development of humanity's dignified life. We will use our youthful energy to improve ourselves, experience life with its diversity, prepare for the future, come together, and encourage each other for a fair and better world.
  • Article 10: We will work with the understanding of Atatürk "Peace at home, peace in the world." supporting everyone in their country to live a humane life.
  • Article 11: We will preserve the quality and respect of all professions providing public services, especially in education and health, which enhance our country's intellectual capital and quality of life.
We Will Ensure Continuous Learning and Development!
  • Article 12: We believe in the empowering force of education. Focusing on education starting from the family, for the growth of equality, freedom, development, respect, and love. We will work to make the right to education accessible to everyone by reinforcing the quality and established education system that supports talent-focused individual development across all social contexts through peer learning.
  • Article 13: We will be pioneers, followers, and guardians of global developments and promises in the light of science and technology.
  • Article 14: We will ensure the cultivation of curious, questioning, entrepreneurial, and innovative generations. We will lead the improvements in effectiveness and quality of educationand its deployment throughout the community, which aim to develop individuals based on science, with innovative and value-generating approaches.
  • Article 15: We believe that education is not just about learning. We will create the necessary climate for the integration of socialization, participation in cultural activities, peer learning, the widespread of volunteering, civic engagement, and experiential learning.
  • Article 16: We will follow the effective planning, prevention, management, and reduction of risk in pre and post-disaster processes under the leadership of science and technology.
  • Article 17: We will adopt a value-focused production and a continuous learning approach for sustainable development, economic strength, and social progress under the leadership of science and technology.
We Will Strengthen Our Love and Respect for Nature!
  • Article 18: Sustainability is not just about thriftiness; it is about transforming culture, behaviors, habits, and utilization of resources. Using proper terminology and scientific techniques, we will raise awareness among individuals about the consequences of the climate crisis, turning the habit of complaining into a search for long-term solutions.
  • Article 19: We will be advocates for responsible behaviors that are respectful to nature and compatible with technological developments.
We Will Embrace Love and Respect for Humanity as Fundamental Principles of Our Life!
  • Article 20: We live life together, understanding that tolerance and balance are essential for our quality of life, and we respect our differences. Without discrimination based on gender, religion, language, race, or political views, we will work towards a world where there is no discrimination, and where labor is valued at every point, aiming for a better life together.
  • Article 21: We stand against all forms of violence, whether psychological, physical, digital, sexual, or in any other realm. In this regard, we will work to end the dominance of fear, create a culture that understands that violence is not a solution, and establish an awareness that violence has no place in our society.
  • Article 22: We embrace a culture of respect for rights and differences, promoting a society where a culture of living together prevails. With an understanding of rights and responsibilities, we will work to create a society where justice is upheld, trust in the rule of law is established, and tranquility prevails.
  • Article 23: We are aware of our power; in the new century of the Republic of Türkiye, with determination and hope, we will use our perseverance, talent, labor, and actions to advance our democratic understanding as a society, strive for a better future, and be pioneers of change.
