Public Decision Making Processes - 2015 OECD Evaluation Meeting

In cooperation with Argüden Governance Academy and TÜSİAD, a conference on “Public Decision Making Processes 2015 OECD Evaluation Report” was held at the TÜSİAD Conference Hall for private sector, public and non-governmental managers. At the conference, it was emphasized that the implementation of informed, participatory decision processes while fulfilling the regulatory role of the public has a critical importance in increasing the quality of life of the citizens.

TÜSİAD Chairman of the Board of Directors Cansen Başaran-Symes and Argüden Governance Academy Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Metin Çakmakçı made the opening speech, and Nick Malyshev, Member of the Advisory Board of the Academy and Head of the OECD Regulatory Policy Department, took part as the main speaker. Other speakers of the conference were Argüden Governance Academy Academic Board Member Dr. Erkin Erimez, Sabancı University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ersin Kalaycıoğlu, Founder of Argüden Governance Academy Dr. Yılmaz Argüden, Hacettepe University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Muhittin Acar, TEPAV Governance Studies Director Dr. Emin Dedeoğlu and TÜSİAD Ankara Permanent Representative Eray Akdağ.

The directors who attended the meeting were presented with the book “Public Regulation Quality and Life Level” published by Argüden Governance Academy, which includes a broad summary of the “OECD Regulatory Policy Outlook 2015” Report and compiles the evaluations of Prof. Dr. Ersin Kalaycıoğlu and Dr. Erkin Erimez.
