“Integrated Thinking” is a new concept that is beginning to be heard more and more in the Turkish business world, as it is in the world. We became one of the first institutions in Türkiye to take the first step in "Integrated Reporting", which is primarily of interest to publicly traded companies. We published our 2015 activities as Türkiye's first Integrated Report. 

One of the authors of the book, Prof. Mervyn E. King is an advisor to the legendary leader Nelson Mandela, Chairman of the Board of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). Leigh Roberts is one of the world's leading experts on the International Integrated Reporting Framework.

We have translated the book titled “Integrated Thinking: The Way of Doing Business in the 21st Century”, co-authored by our Advisory Board member Prof Mervyn E. King and Leigh Roberts, about Integrated Thinking, which gets the business world more and more excited every day. The presentation of our book, which will contribute significantly to the understanding of the benefits and framework of the subject in Turkish business circles, with the collaborations of TİDE and ERTA, of which we are among the founders, the meetings we held in Ankara, which started with the Gong Ceremony in Borsa Istanbul, and later in Ankara for public alumni of the Academy and Boğaziçi University. We invited public leaders and experts, international organizations, civil society leaders, private sector leaders and academics to our event, where we talked about Integrated Thinking and creating value with a holistic approach, and shared our experiences on our Integrated Reporting journey. In the meeting, where we came together with nearly 100 people from the business world and the academic world in Istanbul and Ankara, our Vice Chairman of the Board Pınar Ilgaz, the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Internal Auditing of Türkiye Menteş Albayrak, Boğaziçi University Deputy Dean of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Nur İrem Nuhoğlu, Member of the Academic Board (former CMB President), Ambassador of the International Integrated Reporting Council Prof. Dr. Vedat Akgiray was among the speakers.

The guest of honor of our meeting, Richard Howitt, CEO of the International Integrated Reporting Council, underlined in his speech that good corporate governance, stakeholder relations, integrated thinking and integrated reporting are the 4 basic tools needed to manage a company in the 21st century.
